What was the most special part about your win?
It was my first big win at a major show and I was able to do it with some of my best friends, family and biggest supporters.
What is your favorite thing about your animal?
He had the best personality and just the easiest going pig and his hair.
Does your animal have any quirks?
He would always have his front feet hanging over his gate waiting for his feed.
What is one thing you hope to accomplish by the end of your show career?
Win the Indiana State Fair!
Who is your biggest role model?
Many in the industry have influenced me through out the years, but the 3 that are at the top of my list are Nate Myers, Travis Platt and Austin Thompson. They are always there for me answering any questions, giving advice and helping when I need it. They have been there for me for all the highs and all the lows. They have taught me hard work pays and to never give up. It’s not easy getting there.
Favorite hobbies outside of showing livestock?
Hanging out with friends and family. Watching Purdue Basketball!
What is your pre-show routine?
A lot late nights and early mornings. Packing the trailer and making sure my hogs are ready to go show.
What are some of your showbox essentials?
My favorite brush and whip. Jimmy Juice, Peppi, sprayer, Wintex White and All In.
