We Caught up with Ms. Paityn Hall, exhibitor of the Grand Champion Crossbred Gilt at the 2024 Missouri State Fair. Learn more about Paityn below..

What do you do to overcome your obstacles?
When I run into an obstacle, I always lean on those close to me. I have a great support team that I know I can always rely on.

What is your favorite thing about your animal?
My favorite thing about Rachel is how well her personality fit her namesake’s, Rachel Greene, from Friends.  Rachel always had the best hair, which is one thing my gilt always got complimented on.

What is one thing you had to overcome together?
With my gilt acting just like her namesake, she had a bit of an attitude. She was extremely sassy and “complained” about just about everything. She was a sassy little princess!

What is at the top of your bucket list?
At the top of my bucket list has always been doing well at the State Fair. Year after year I work hard trying to achieve that goal, with no luck. This year was a success! I was so grateful to walk away with that banner! The best part about it all is having the best team by my side every step of the way!

Favorite snack?
My favorite snack when I’m at home is always chips and salsa. When I’m showing it’s probably Pringles or carrots and humus!

Favorite show day breakfast?
I don’t usually have time for breakfast, especially on show day, but my mom makes a killer breakfast burrito!
