Uniqueness. In a show with that kind of depth of quality, the ones that were just a little different and the hardest to make rose to the top.

What breed/class surprised you the most?
It’s OYE — the most prestigious gilt show in the country. We expected them to be good, and they lived up to those expectations and then some!

What was your first impression of the eventual Grand Champion?
I saw her coming up “The Hill” and thought oh my!
