What breed/class surprised you the most?
I jumped right into the Hampshires day 1. I was surprised just how deep and consistent they were in terms of quality. I felt best breed, top to bottom, all week.

What was your first impression of the eventual Grand Champion?
Just happened to look across from pen 2 as he walked through the sift pen. Andy came over to the dead sea and said wait until you see the white pig. I told him I already had. Those special barrows like him get your heart pumping.

If you could pick a walk-out song, what would it be?
I’d rather cheer on the exhibitors as they walk out!
