What breed/class surprised you the most?
Durocs and Yorks. The consistency we were able to find in the upper end of both breeds.

What was your first impression of the eventual Grand Champion?
At first it was more asking if this could be real — that skeleton with all the extras. Then it was please don’t step on something or act silly. Kinda like when Secretariat had a 30 length lead and the trainer yelled just don’t fall off!!!

If you could pick a walk-out song, what would it be?
I have never really thought about it, but at that show at that moment probably Back In The Saddle Again!

They always take care of you in the tent at lunch and dinner at HLSR! Hats off and thank you to those that cooked and volunteered.
