Following her Fifth Overall Crossbred Gilt finish at The Exposition, Madison Scarborough shared a little about the people, traditions, and routines that make show season so memorable.
What is your favorite way to celebrate a win?
My favorite way to celebrate a win is to first make sure I find my parents to get a big hug from them.
What’s your dream show to win?
My dream show to win would be the Indiana State Fair. If you are from Indiana, you know getting on the dirt is a huge deal. The atmosphere in the colosseum is unmatched and a forever memory to witness.
Who is another exhibitor that you look up to?
Harper Fordice. Harper is a driven and hardworking individual. She may be young, but she is a powerful showman that demands your attention. Harper is kind and always brings a smile and positivity to every show.
What’s one thing you can’t go without during a show?
Caffeine. Between the late nights and early mornings, you will always catch me drinking an Alani, Celsius, or iced coffee. Another thing I can’t show without is my green shirt and little baby Jesus in my pocket.
Besides summer shows, what is something else you enjoy doing during the summer?
Golfing. Even though I am not the greatest at golf by any means, I enjoy spending time on the golf course with my friends.
