What was the most special part about your win?
I was not expecting to get in the top 5 since she was 3rd overall spot gilt. It was a great surprise, and having so many members of the Danner Team there to give me hugs and high fives!

What is your favorite thing about your animal?
Dottie is a very confident pig. If she doesn’t like what you are trying to make her do she barks at you to let you know she’s not having it.

Does your animal have any quirks?
Dottie has a lot of quirks, but the biggest is when she barks at you when she doesn’t want to cooperate. It is actually funny.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish by the end of your show career?
By the end of my show career I want to get “on the dirt” at the Indiana State Fair.

Who is your biggest role model?
My parents are my biggest role models. They work hard to provide me the opportunity to show pigs around the country. They are also my biggest supporters, and push me to work hard and strive for my goals.

Favorite hobbies outside of showing livestock?
Outside of showing livestock I am learning to golf, I love to read, and spend time with my family and friends.

What is your pre-show routine?
My pre-show routine has to include my family telling me “don’t suck” as I walk to the ring.

What are some of your showbox essentials?
Non-broken whips, show brush, white polish, champions choice.
