We caught up with Luke Sullivan to talk about the gilt that proved she could be something special when it mattered most.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
We bought her from one of our family’s best friends, Matt Hammons. She was one we didn’t show often, but we knew she could be special as a bigger one.

Who is somebody that helped you achieve this win?
Jace Tarbell, Tate Welch, and my parents.

What was the most challenging homework you had to make up?
All of it!

What was a challenge you had to overcome with your champion or at the show?
The night before the show she got very sick with a virus. It took all the time we had until show day to get her back right.

What’s your go-to snack in the snack tub?
Blue Doritos.
