For a big girl Shaniqua had a “tall gear!” One little tap to get her to speed up she turned into a track star.

Ever had a show ring fail? Tell us the story!
I had reserve light weight cross at Indy my second or third year showing. Dad told me to not show the side of the barrow that had the white leg. So I just stayed on that white leg the entire time and Andy Rash and Brandon Ogle who were judging that year kept chasing me around trying to get me to show the other side but I was welded to the white leg.

What’s your favorite non-livestock hobby?
Hanging out with our family friends and sisters. Going to Casey’s or Starbucks…according to my Dad and Kaylee. I love to shop especially for jewelry and 7 jeans.

If your champion had a theme song, what would it be?
Theme song would either be “Truth Hurts” by Lizzo or Big X “The Largest”

What’s the one thing in your show box you can’t live without?
360 comb for the pigs and hairspray for me.

What do you enjoy most about the summer national shows?
I love the atmosphere and seeing friends from around the country.
