Tell us a little about your champion:

I don’t usually find names for pigs I just believe its easier for them to be named after their breeder so I named this gilt “Knauth gilt”, what makes this gilt so special is she is one of the last pigs I will ever show as I am in my senior year and I could not have asked for a more unique gilt to do it with and I am very excited to take her to my last American royal.

First person you hugged after your win?

after I won the commercial gilt show at EYO Kyle Johnson was the first person to approach me and we gave one another a fist bump.

Who is another exhibitor you admire?

I admire everyone who puts in the work and competes in showing. I believe that it is a very tough and competitive industry and everyone who is willing to get out there and  strive to get better every day deserves to be admired.

Favorite Fair Food?

to be honest I am not really a big fair food person but when I do eat the occasional fair food ill make sure to get myself a chicken on a stick.
