Tell us a little about your champion:
My York gilts name was Barba. Barbra was one of those pigs that had a ton of personality. She was either wagging her tail or squealing until you gave her attention.

When I was selected Grand Gilt, I didn’t know what to think. A ton of different emotions hit me at once. It was a bittersweet win, with it being the last time I will ever enter the ring as a junior exhibitor.

Do you prefer summer or winter shows? Why?
Summer shows. I hate the cold.

Who’s been your biggest influence?
My Parents would defiantly be my biggest influence.

Do you and your family raise pigs?
No, we do not raise pigs, but we do own some sows with a few different breeders.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the barn?
My favorite thing to do in the barn would probably be washing and conditioning. I have always been very particular with how my pig’s skin and hair look.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer?
Besides showing pigs, I always like to hang out with my friends and family.
