First person you hugged after your win?
My brother Camren Scaffedi. He met me on the side of the show ring and was so excited that he picked me up off the ground. I included a picture of this embrace in the photos below!
Name of your pig and what made him/her so special?
My barrows name was Milo. He had a bunch of quirks that made him special starting with the bond that we had from day one. He also had a habit of smiling when I walked him, ive never had a pig do that before. Finally he was the only hog I ever raised that didn’t like treats. He was one of a kind!
Who is another exhibitor you admire?
Brayden Hearn is an exhibitor that I truly admire. His work ethic and show ring presence is unmatched. I’ve watched him show many different species since I was young and have become good friends with him through showing livestock. He is also a great athlete and scholar who has helped me develop in and out of the showring!
Something you do to pass the time at shows?
There is plenty of downtime between shows. I try to use that time to hang out with my friends, family and livestock. I also enjoy watching the other swine classes as well as other species in the show ring.
Favorite Fair Food?
Fair Food is amazing it’s hard to pick just one favorite. With that said I think my top picks are Spaghetti Eddie’s pasta, Delaware Farm bureau milk shakes and last but not least Kirby and Holloway scrapple sandwiches!
Favorite Pump Up Song:
My favorite pump up song is Hall of Fame by the Script. I listened to it every time I have a big show and sometimes before other events. It’s one of those songs that gets ya hype!
