Tell us a little about your champion:
Dozer was definitely a Fort barn favorite! He loved all of the attention and always enjoyed getting baths and belly rubs.

What do your days leading up to a show look like?
A day leading up to the show at our barn consists of washing, getting skin and hair to perfection, feeding the pigs the right feed to get them looking their absolute best, and making any final touches on showmanship skills. As a team we like to do all of the hard work at the barn, so we can kick back and relax at the shows.

Describe the moment you were selected as a champion.
The moment I was selected 3rd Overall Purebred at The Exposition will be a moment that will stay in my mind for a very long time. It is always so rewarding to see all of our family and team’s hard work pay off!

Do you prefer summer or winter shows? Why?
I prefer winter shows simply because the weather. I would way rather be at a show when it is cold outside rather than scorching hot.

Who’s been your biggest influence?
My biggest inspiration has been my twin sister, Brynn. She is the most kindhearted, thoughtful person I know and I strive everyday to have that big of a heart. Being so close, we have pushed each other to work as hard as we can inside and outside of the show barn. I truly don’t know where I would be if I didn’t have her by my side every step of the way.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the barn?
My favorite thing to do in the barn is work with my dad, Brynn, and Kasside everyday. I get to do one of my favorite things on Earth and have people I love so much around me help me do it!

What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer?
My favorite thing to do in the summer is hang out with friends and family.
