What was the most special part about your win?
The most special part was that she’s had so much success in the jackpot circuit and when those kinds of pigs are able to get the win at a national level too it is always great.

What is your favorite thing about your animal?
My favorite thing is how unique she is, there aren’t many that look like her.

Does your animal have any quirks?
She gets extremely excited and worked up very easily and quickly. She also likes to try and run when out in ring.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish by the end of your show career?
I want to win grand at Louisville and Indy.

Who is your biggest role model?
There are so many people I look up to but the two people that have had the most impact on me is my dad and Travis Platt. They both have taught me so much and I owe so much of my success to them.

Favorite hobbies outside of showing livestock?
I love to hang out with friends, watch sports, and hunt.

What is your pre-show routine?
I always have to get up early and make sure the pigs are fed right and skin and hair presented to the best of my ability.

What are some of your showbox essentials?
My multiple kinds of paint, oil, brushes and a 360 comb.

Gilts or Barrows?
I’ll love both and I’d show anything but I would have to say if I had to pick 1 it would be gilts.

Tennis Shoes or Boots?
Tennis shoes because I have to be comfy in the barns.

Cats or Dogs?
100% dogs.

Summer shows or winter shows?
I’ll show anywhere, anytime but definitely summer shoes are my go to.

Favorite Breed?
Crosses and durocs.
