What was one difficult challenge you faced to get this win?
We were very lucky that this gilt was an easy one to feed and never missed a beat. The biggest challenge may have been the drive from Indiana to Georgia in the ice and snow, along with the cold weather at the show!

What is one thing you dislike the most about showing pigs?
Cleaning and power washing barns!

One thing you enjoy the most:
Seeing the long hours and hard work pay off

Something new you tried:
Putting a tent over our pens to keep the pigs warm at Perry!

Besides being named Grand Champion, what was another memorable moment for you?
This was my first time showing at Perry, GA and I can’t wait to go back.

Somebody you look up to:
My dad because he has taught me everything I know.

The playlist I like listening to in the barn has a mix of Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Koe Wetzel, and some other good country artists.
