What was the most special part about your win?
5th overall cross barrow- I have been showing this barrow at all the jackpots we have gone to and he had success at a national show.
3rd overall spot barrow- This spot barrow is special to me because he is out of a gilt that we showed last year.
What is your favorite thing about your animal?
5th overall cross barrow- I like his head and ears.
Spot barrow- He can be kind of grouchy, but always does a good job in the ring.
Does your animal have any quirks?
5th overall cross barrow- not really
Spot barrow- He always bites at the water when I rinse him.
What is one thing you hope to accomplish by the end of your show career?
Win the Illinois State Fair
Who is your biggest role model?
There’s a few people I look up to and Nalaney Guyer is one of them. She always does a good job showing.
Favorite hobbies outside of showing livestock?
Tumbling and swimming
What is your pre-show routine?
Wash and walk pigs, get my show clothes on and drink a Dr. Pepper
What are some of your showbox essentials?
Brush, whips, number holders, health papers, oil, sprayers and eye drops for my Dad
