What made winning at this Show Special for you?
This was my first time to show at Louisville. To be named Reserve Champion Overall was an honor.

Do you get nervous?
I don’t necessarily get nervous. I get excited to be showing off what the project has become. It’s not always easy, but the challenge is what makes it fun, no matter what species.

If you could build your dream trailer what would it include?
I have really enjoyed the Sooner trailer my Dad and I designed. Double deck, automatic waters, and a large tack area. I would like to add some speakers and under-glo lights to it though.

What was the most special thing about your champion?
For a Duroc, he was very smart.

Most used product/item at a show in the showbox:
Champion Choice

Who is your favorite judge? Why?
I would have to say Willie Kirkpatrick and Spencer Scotten.  They don’t compromise the quality of livestock.

Favorite breed to show? Why?
My favorite would be the belted crosses. They are what we try to raise on the farm everyday.
