We caught up with Alice Hawk to talk about her Duroc, El Chapo, and the work behind the win.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
My pig was a Duroc from TRU. His name was El Chapo, and he liked to walk.

Who is somebody that helped you achieve this win?
Logan, Sam, Dwood, Lex, my family, and the Goss family. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without all of them.

What was the most challenging homework you had to make up?
English and biology were the most challenging, but I just got it all done not that long ago.

What was a challenge you had to overcome with your champion or at the show?
He wasn’t really wanting to eat, so that was a challenge we had to overcome.

What’s your go-to snack in the snack tub?
The chili my dad made on the Blackstone.
