Tell us a little about your champion:
My York barrow, Allan, was a Kat’s Meow x Jasper bred by the Weisinger family. He easily became one of my favorites that has ever passed through our show barn. His personality was second to none and could just instantly put you in a good mood… he was one that was just born to be a show pig.
The days leading up to a show look pretty hectic at our place. We will never claim to have our ducks in a row… but somehow we seem to pull it together.
It was a pretty surreal & unforgettable moment getting to hang a banner my first time on the green chips… that was a moment I won’t forget.
Do you prefer summer or winter shows? Why?
