Breeding/Pedigree/Genetics of your champion:
Main Man (Lettow) x Hammer. Their dam was a gilt the guys fell in love with when they saw her in the grower at Thompson Bros.  They thought she was one of the best Duroc gilts they had seen and we were very glad we were able to add her.

If you could add one thing to your operation what would it be?
Automatic feed systems for the sows,  farrowing & nursery.   They have been on the to-do list for too long.

Something you miss about the “good ole days”
I think these are the “good ole days”  Excitement, involvement and the opportunities to show have never been greater.  In my ancient days we had 2 shows, county fair and state fair.  They were the highlights of my summers but I would have loved to have been able to compete year-round against the very best in the country.
