We caught up with Maria Frasch to talk about her Grand Champion barrow, Lafayette.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
My Grand Champion barrow’s name was Lafayette. He was very spoiled and loved marshmallows or anything sweet.

Who is somebody that helped you achieve this win?
My parents helped me the most with this project.

What was the most challenging homework you had to make up?
The most challenging homework I had to make up was definitely AP Biology.

What was a challenge you had to overcome with your champion or at the show?
A challenge I had to overcome with my champion was his attitude problem. He wanted to be the boss when it came to going on walks.

What’s your go-to snack in the snack tub?
Doritos.
