We caught up with Stormi Swaim to talk about Hank and his mission at Perry.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
Hank was born and raised at Hi-Point Genetics. His sole mission was to compete at Perry. He grew impatient as we kept him in the barn, and his only outing was the Winter National in Perry. He had a great personality and was fun to have around. He was always excited to see the feed scoop come over the gate and loved to have his back scratched, too!

Who is somebody that helped you achieve this win?
My parents, sisters, and the Danner Team.

What was the most challenging homework you had to make up?
Advanced English was the most challenging because I don’t enjoy writing essays. I had two of those to make up, along with a few other assignments.

What was a challenge you had to overcome with your champion or at the show?
He was easy to break and had a great personality, but in the winter it can be challenging to work them in the aisle of the barn since Indiana weather can be brutal at times.
