We caught up with Caiden Litteken to talk about the champion that kept him on his toes all the way to Georgia.

Tell us a little bit about your champion:
This pig was one that always did a lot of things right — until about a week before the show when he didn’t want to eat much. Once we got to Georgia, his diet was heavy on cake batter just so he would eat. On show day we had him looking the best he ever did, but we didn’t know how it would go. After he won his class and we were in the pens for the division drive, I saw the first two class winners were also calicos and felt a little better about things. And it was uphill from there.

Who is somebody that helped you achieve this win?
Miles Toenyes — when he did answer his phone.

What was the most challenging homework you had to make up?
My English, because I’m still not done with it.

What was a challenge you had to overcome with your champion or at the show?
Getting him to eat.

What’s your go-to snack in the snack tub?
Slim Jims for sure.
