We Caught up with Ms. Kylie Locke, exhibitor of the Grand Champion  Barrow at the 2024 Ohio State Fair. Learn more about Kylie below..

What do you do to overcome your obstacles?
Keep working hard and don’t be afraid to try new things when something’s not working.

What is your favorite thing about your animal?
His personality, he was the calmest barrow and I don’t think we ever heard him squeal. His curly hair was also pretty special.

What is one thing you had to overcome together?
One hard thing was leaving him home a majority of the summer to make sure his best day was in Columbus. We had some hard choices but the work at home paid off.

What is at the top of your bucket list?
I would like to start showing crossbred gilts and go to Expo, I’ve never been!

Favorite snack?
Not a big snacker but I always have an iced coffee in my hand.

Favorite show day breakfast?
Any breakfast sandwich at the food stands and hopefully they will have iced coffee too.
